Feeling a bit old...

Aside from dressing older for every day I work, I've been feeling old for the past couple of hours. Why is that? It's because my mom left this morning for Philippines. She's going to be there until August... which sucks. Hopefully when she comes back, she won't have to return for more paper work and stuff. It's just really stressing her out and we worry about how she's really holding back. She's been a tough cookie, but is she really? =S

So yeah, I now have more responsibilities on top of my list (then again, I don't think I had any to begin with). I'm in charge of laundry and cooking. Meaning, I have to wake up early in the morning to cook breakfast for myself and my sister. x.o Good thing I've been sleeping during the sane hours for the past couple of weeks. If I slept at the times I used to, then sleep would be useless. I would probably be better off getting one of those freaky things that Marilyn Manson had in his eyes from one of his videos (Beautiful People, I think). That stuff would be the shit! ._.;;;

Other than that, there isn't really anything new. I got my first paycheque today and it felt great. It was sealed and I opened it when I was about to get off my shift, and was somewhat disappointed. My sister was too... but then again... it was because of Canada Day. x.o But then, I start working at another location on Saturdays (starting next week) from 10 to 6.30. That's not too bad... Eight and a half hours... More money for me... and more taxes deducted (those bastards!).

And that's pretty much it. Work is taking over my life... and now I'm kicking back and enjoying my Heavenly Hash ice cream. Nummy. =)

I hope everyone else is doing okay. LJ has been pretty quiet with the exception of two people on my list. =S (Then again, I don't post as often as I used to.)
